I love connecting with new people and making those around me smile (go figure, right?). I live in the Hudson Valley area of New York but will travel wherever you'll take me! When I'm not off galavanting with my camera, I am playing hopscotch with my 5-year-old or keeping my 2-year-old out of the dog's food bowl. True crime shows, party games, folk music, coffee shops, and singing with my family are my jam. Hi, I'm Cayla!

While my job as a photographer is to capture a moment in a digital format, I focus most on creating memories by participating in jokes, games, and conversation during the session while I stand back and snag a still of you in the frame. I am a mother myself and understand the beautiful balance that exists between chaos and patience. I want to help you celebrate your relationship or your family in a way that extends past the images that I deliver. My method of unposed or "candid" portraits are achieved in a natural light setting in a variety of outdoor and indoor locations.
